Meet the Copper Star Classes of 2024, 2023, and 2022

24HourDallas has accepted Copper Star program applications from from over 200 nighttime establishments (some with multiple locations) for its inaugural class in January 2022, second class in January 2023, and third class in January 2024

63 organizations representing 69 locations throughout Dallas have ultimately earned Copper Star Certifications over the last two years.

Our goals continue to be exceeded thanks to the diligent work of Good Neighbor Initiative Project Manager, Bryan Tony, and a helpful team of 24HourDallas volunteers.

24HourDallas’s Copper Star Certification program is inspired by the Purple Flag and Best Bar None programs in the UK and the Arlington Restaurant Initiative in Virginia.

Unlike these initiatives, however, 24HourDallas is a private, non-profit and volunteer-powered organization focused on all economic engines of Dallas nighttime economy.

Our Copper Star program is free, voluntary, and open to any business, venue or organization that operates for customers at night in the City of Dallas. If a business wishes to demonstrate that it is a good, nighttime corporate citizen, our Copper Star certification provides the means to do so.

This year, 66 businesses, organizations, and venues applied for 2024-2025 Copper Star Certifications and are currently working through the accreditation process.

Those listed to below have completed the Copper Star Certification process, including hosting site visits to verify their self-assessments.

The Copper Star program, a pillar of our Good Neighbor Initiative, is made possible by Pernod Ricard USA.

In addition to 24HourDallas’ own Respect and Inclusion Committee and Trafficking Committee, more than 20 local non-profit organizations have agreed to be a resource, as needed, to participants in the Copper Star program.

Their goal is to help our nighttime businesses be safer, more inclusive, and more culturally and economically vibrant.
