Think of Women U-Night as a great night at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall to promote women’s safety at night and the advancement of Dallas’ Women’s Night Safety Charter on International Women’s Day, Wednesday, March 6, 2024, 5:00 p.m.

An annual event for women to come together, the purpose of Women U-Night is to reinforce the message women should be and feel safe everywhere when out at night in Dallas. Women U-Night will feature live music, a panel of experts who will share recommendations and steps businesses and the general public can take to ensure women feel safe at all hours, and opportunities to get more involved with organizations who support women.

Attendees will enjoy light bites and a cash bar.

Event Highlights

5:00 p.m.
Event check-in, networking happy hour, and social impact park opens at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall (1323 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75207)

6:00 p.m.
Program begins with welcome set by a local comic and our emcee, Magen King, expert panel, self-defense demonstration, “Sheroes of the Night” award ceremony, and a fireside chat with Dallas City Councilmember Gay Donnell Willis.

7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
We will announce door prizes, enjoy live music and light bites, and have wine-tasting available. The social impact park and affirmations space will remain open until the event concludes.

Parking

Free self-parking is available in the lot next door to the venue. A parking attendant will also guide you to the lot located at 1333 N Stemmons Fwy at the intersection of Inspiration Drive & N Stemmons Fwy.

Women U-Night is hosted by the non-profit 24HourDallas. The event’s major sponsors are Pernod Ricard USA and Methodist Dallas Medical Center.

The event will also bring awareness to the first women’s night safety charter to be drafted for a city in the Americas.

The charter will encourage nighttime operators to prioritize women’s safety. A Dallas City Council proclamation will reinforce these tenets.

Women U-Night empowers North Texas women to support the city at night and helps ensure that all women feel safe doing so.
